In one week, 273 people fell ill with Covid-19 in Lviv Oblast

You can get vaccinated against covid in polyclinics and family medicine clinics. From October 31 to November 4, 2,927 tests for Covid-19 were conducted in Lviv Region. Of them, 273 turned out to be positive.

Despite the decrease in the incidence of covid in the region, 5 people died of this disease in one week in the Lviv region. 250 people with a diagnosis of Covid-19 are receiving inpatient treatment in regional medical facilities. Therefore, doctors urge to observe the rules of personal hygiene – to wear a mask in case of a runny nose and to consult a doctor in case of ARVI symptoms.

Since February 2020, 323,794 people have contracted covid in Lviv region, 6,823 have died, and 312,816 have recovered.

The full course of vaccination includes four vaccinations:

1) First dose of vaccine;

2) Second dose of vaccine:

The interval between the first and second doses depends on the vaccine you have chosen for vaccination.

The interval between the administration of two doses of the vaccine:

Comirnaty/Pfizer-BioNTech –  21-28 days
CoronaVac/Sinovac Biotech – 14-28 days
Moderna – 28 days
AstraZeneca (Covishield, SKBio) – 4-12 weeks.

3) 5 months after the second dose, the first booster dose should be given

4) After 4 months – the second booster.

It is also worth consulting with your family doctor about the need for additional vaccinations.

Currently, Komirnati and Koronavak vaccines are available in Lviv Oblast.
