Return of the Metropolitan Gardens and Sheptytsky Library to UGCC
The Metropolitan Gardens and Sheptytsky Library have finally returned to the UGCC. This is the justice that the Church has awaited since 1951.
Plans for the Future
Today, at the St. George’s Palace, together with Bishop Ihor, we discussed the future of this territory. The plans include creating an open cultural space with a summer theater and open-air concerts.
Support from the State
Thanks to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal for his principled position. Due to his intervention, the state has done what it should have long ago.
Lviv is ready to contribute to the restoration: we will offer the best architectural solutions. The Church will choose what resonates the most.
