An Islamic religious and cultural center was opened in the Lviv region

Anyone can visit the center.

Today, March 24, the Muslim community of Lviv region opened an Islamic religious and cultural center on the territory of the region. The opening of the center took place in the first week of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, which is a period of spiritual improvement and charity for Muslims.

“We rejoice together with the Muslim community and support in every way! Despite the obstacles of a full-scale war, new centers are opening and new prayer centers are being formed, which is an indisputable evidence of our bright and peaceful future,” the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions noted.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Lviv Oblast has become home to many ethnic communities, representatives of various religions and faiths.

“Crimean Tatars living in Lviv are very happy that such a special place has opened. A place of prayer, which we all really need now: someone in the trenches, someone in occupation, someone in Russian prisons. We are open to dialogue with representatives of different nationalities and religions, because Ukraine is a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional state. We invite you to visit our center and unite for the victory of good over evil,” said Elvin Kadyrov, head of the Mejlis Coordination Center for Humanitarian Affairs.
