These days, the bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Eparchy, together with Roman Catholic bishops, are experiencing days of spiritual renewal in Bryukhovychi, Lviv Oblast.
This year’s retreatant for the bishops is the Apostolic Nuncio to Ukraine, Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas.
Last year, the joint retreat was held in Zarvanytsia and was led by the then Auxiliary Bishop of the Donetsk Exarchate, Maksym Ryabukha.
The traditional retreat will culminate in a fraternal meeting of the bishops of the UGCC, RCC and ICGCE, during which the bishops will discuss the current situation and challenges facing the Church in Ukraine.
