On 30 November, the VI International Festival-Contest “Talented Children and Youth” was held in Sokal, in which the exemplary folk dance group “Veselka” of the Cultural Institution “People’s House of Sokal” of the Sokal City Council (headed by Nadiya Ganitkevich) took part and received high awards:
Senior group – winner of the GRAND PRIX!
1) Ukrainian folk dance “Kozachok”;
2) Choreographic composition “Vesnyanka”.
Preparatory group – winner of the 1st prize!
1) Ukrainian folk dance “Hutsul”;
2) Ukrainian dance “Podolyanochka”.
Junior group – winner of the 1st prize!
1) Ukrainian folk dance “Polka”;
2) Dance “Nesplyukhi”.
