This season FC “Datsky Tekstil” will not be limited to performances in the regional championship. The level of play that our team is currently demonstrating allows it to try its strength in matches against the best clubs in the region.
Therefore, after an almost 20-year break, the Sokal team will take part in the Cup of the Lviv region, in which 19 teams will compete. The matches of the preliminary stage of the competition will be held on November 2 and 6.
“Danish Textiles” will start in the Cup of Lviv Oblast-2022 from the 1/8 finals, the matches of this stage are scheduled for November 13. The opponent of Sokal residents in the 1/8 finals will be known after the draw, which will take place later.
It should be noted that in 1993, Sokal “Khimik” won the honorary title of Lviv Oblast Cup winner, beating “Prykarpattia” (Staryy Sambir) in the final over the sum of two matches.
