In the final four of the Premier League of the DUFL of Ukraine, the Lviv team won gold medals in the U-17 age category without a single defeat.
Lviv played their first match against UFC Kryvbas (Dnipro) and won 0-2.
In the second match, they met the team of the Children’s and Youth Sports School of FA Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih) and won with a score of 3-0.
They played their third and decisive game for the championship against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and drew 1-1.
According to the sum of three matches, UFC Karpaty scored 7 points and won the first place
FC Shakhtar Donetsk took second place with 5 points.
The third place went to the Kryvbas FA Children’s Sports School team from Kryvyi Rih with 4 points.
“Congratulations to the players and coaches on the championship. This result once again underlines how strong the Karpaty school is. This year, the adult team regained the right to compete in the Premier League, and the youth team became the strongest in the country,” said Roman Khimyak, Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Administration.
