On Tuesday, 27 August, the traditional Interregional Children’s Football Tournament in memory of Yaroslav Murovany, senior coach and teacher of Chervonograd Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 2, honorary citizen of Chervonograd City Territorial Community, took place at the Shakhtar Stadium named after Petro Oleynik.
This year, 8 teams from Chervonograd, Sosnivka, Sokal, Novoyavorivsk, Zhovkva, Brody, Novovolynsk and Dubno competed for the victory. The first place was taken by the team of the Yantar Sports School from Novoyavorivsk.
“Athletes from Novovolynsk won silver, and the bronze medalist was the Rukh team from Sokal.
The organisers made sure that all tournament participants received medals and sweet gifts. The best players and the most skilful young footballers who proved themselves in the Juggling, Shot on target and Goalkeeper Battle competitions were also awarded.
The organisers expressed their sincere gratitude to Yaroslav Murovanyi’s pupils and friends for their help in organising the tournament.
