As of September 19, 4,999 hectares were sown in the district, which is 100% of the forecast. As noted in the department of economy, agro-industrial development and infrastructure of the Yavoriv district state administration, this is 408 hectares more than last year. “Thanks to the weather conditions, the optimal terms for sowing crops have been observed, which has a significant impact on the future harvest” – shares a local farmer. Farmers also plan to sow winter grain crops in Yavoriv Oblast:
winter wheat – 4938 ha
of winter barley – 1959 ha
winter rye – 267 ha.
We would like to add that, as of today, the collection of buckwheat crops is ongoing in the district, the area of which is 586 hectares.
As of today, farmers have already harvested 252 hectares, which is 42.9%, to the sown area with an indicator of 313.5 gross tons.
