After being wounded in the war, a resident of Chervonohrad started growing grapes – he has more than 150 varieties on his plot

The war cripples the body of a Ukrainian soldier, tears his soul apart, leaving spiritual and physical scars for life.

Adapting a wounded ex-soldier to the realities of today is difficult and time-consuming.

According to contributor Liubomyr Pidkovych, his friend Anatoliy Kalishchuk, after being wounded in the army, found joy for his soul not in a glass but in communicating with nature, and taught him the intricacies of fishing and aquarium keeping.

However, Anatolii gets the most pleasure from the results of his hard and long work in the vineyard.

Have you ever seen more than 150 grape varieties on one plot? Dozens of varieties of just one Kish-mish group. It’s incredibly tasty, like savouring a treat.

My friend can tell you about each grape variety, the history of its origin, the peculiarities of growing it in our conditions, the specifics of agricultural technology and disease prevention.

By the way, you can buy grapes for your table and seedlings from the school shown in the photo from Anatolii at a bargain price, by calling him in advance: 0932010136, Anatolii Kalishchuk, Chervonohrad.

Along with grapes, Anatolii’s wife Liuba grows a wide variety of chrysanthemums, calla lilies, and spathiphyllums, which are also available for sale.
