Another 44 micro- and small agricultural enterprises in Lviv region will receive financial support from the regional budget for a total amount of UAH 4.2 million.
Such a decision was made today at the regular meeting of the commission for determining recipients of financial support within the framework of the Comprehensive Program for the Support and Development of Agriculture in the Lviv Region for 2021-2025.
The meeting was chaired by Yuri Buchka, the deputy head of the Lviv OVA, and Yuri Kholod, the head of the Lviv Regional Council.
The members of the commission considered 48 applications from agricultural producers and determined the recipients of financial support according to the following measures:
soft loans on a reverse basis will be given to 7 business entities in the amount of UAH 2.8 million to ensure the implementation of a complex of field works in 2023 and the purchase of fixed assets;
partial compensation of the cost of certified seeds in the amount of UAH 1.4 million. 37 business entities will receive. In general, the total cost of purchased seeds is UAH 6 million, which allowed 598.2 hectares to be sown with high-yielding seeds.
“The support of micro- and small business entities, which is provided from the regional budget, is primarily aimed at creating additional jobs, increasing the yield of vegetable crops and buckwheat,” Yuriy Buchko noted.
As part of the Comprehensive Program, since the beginning of the year, 70 agrarians of Lviv Oblast have received the right to financial support in the amount of UAH 18.6 million, which is 54% of the allocated funds.
