The summer season of the training program for farmers (women entrepreneurs) – “UWE Hub 3.0: Turn your idea into a business” has started.
The project is designed to help women create and develop their own business in Ukraine, develop financial literacy, and pitching skills.
This is reported by the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Oblast with reference to the Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs Hub.
The most active participants will have the opportunity to develop individual business plans under the guidance of international business mentors. In the final of the program, 3 winners will be chosen, who will receive a grant of 4 thousand US dollars to pay for consulting and expert services to strengthen their business.
Only female citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 35 can participate in the grant program.
Other criteria for the selection of participants:
– Knowledge of the English language at a sufficient level to master additional materials/listen to lectures in English;
– Availability of a laptop/PC with a webcam or a smartphone with a camera, with the help of which participants will be able to take an active part in online classes;
– High level of motivation, highlighted in the video business card in the registration form;
– Availability of a functioning business at the initial stage or a business idea;
– Belief in one’s own business and the desire to create changes for oneself and at the level of the country.
Registration for participation in the program continues until June 22, 2022.
The training program will be held online in July-August 2023 (practical lectures at 18:00 twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays and additional trainings).

“This is already the third grant program of the UWE Hub (Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs) community. After completing the training program, entrepreneurs will be able to create a simple and effective financial model of their own business, will see a holistic picture of their business and will understand how to scale their business and bring their business to a new level,” said Tetyana Getman, Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional Agricultural University.
