Seasonal fruits, berries and craft goods: what you can buy at the farmers’ market on Rynok Square
Every Saturday, a Farmers’ Market is held on Rynok Square in Lviv. Here you can buy a variety of goods from two dozen local producers and support farmers.
Among other things, you can buy raspberries, peaches, blueberries, dairy products, and bee products at the fair today.
Also, for the second time at the Farmers’ Market, Lviv residents have the opportunity to buy watermelons grown by two brothers near Lviv. One of them is a veteran who defended Ukraine in the hottest spots of the frontline.
Every Saturday during the summer, two dozen farmers sell their products on Rynok Square. 90% of the producers at the fair are family business owners who have the opportunity to sell and promote their own craft goods. During the season, the fair attracts about 90 thousand visitors.
You can find something for yourself at the fair every Saturday from 10 to 16 hours. The Farmers’ Market on Rynok Square will run until the end of September.
By the way, this is the fifth Farmers’ Market in Lviv: in 2019, the long-standing tradition of holding a farmers’ market was renewed on Rynok Square. Back in the 1930s, the oldest and most popular market was the one around the City Hall.
