During the war, the agrarians of the Lviv Region additionally involved more than 11,000 hectares of communal land in cultivation

During the period of martial law, communities of the Lviv region leased 2,487 agricultural land plots with an area of ​​1.3 thousand hectares to farmers.

Also, agricultural enterprises transferred the right of use to 2,627 plots on an area of ​​about 3.2 thousand hectares.

“The leader in terms of area remains Chervonogradshchyna, where more than 27% of all the agricultural lands of the region involved in wartime, namely 3137 hectares, were involved,” said the director of the department, Tetyana Hetman.

Next on the list is Sambir region – 2,899 ha, then Stryi region – 2,104 ha, Lviv region – 1,230 ha, Drohobych region – 1,087 ha, Zolochiv region – 801 ha, and Yavoriv region – 38 ha.

As reported in the APR department, the top five communities included:

Borynsk, where more than 16%, namely 1,916 hectares, were involved;
Belzka – 1299 hectares;
Sokalska – 639 hectares;
Zolochivska – 625 hectares;
Novokalinivska – 586 ha.

We will remind that since the beginning of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation, the acquisition of such lands has been carried out according to a simplified procedure, however, draft law No. 7636 (https://cutt.ly/aCn5FL0), which was adopted in the first reading, proposes to resume the holding of land auctions for the sale of lease rights to communal agricultural land.
