In one week, the Stryi community of Lviv region involved more than 120 hectares of agricultural land in cultivation

According to a simplified procedure, during the period of martial law, communities of Lviv region leased 21 agricultural plots.

Their total area is 155.2 hectares, of which more than 78% is Stryi community.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the communities of the region have leased 2,485 land plots with an area of ​​11,300 hectares to agricultural enterprises.

This was reported in the department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv regional military administration.

“According to the Law of Ukraine dated March 24, 2022 No. 2145-IX, during the period of martial law, communities can lease communal agricultural land under a simplified procedure, namely without holding land auctions for a period of up to 1 year.

However, it should be noted that in the first reading, draft law No. 7636 was adopted as a basis, which proposes to resume the holding of land auctions for the sale of lease rights,” said Tetyana Getman, director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of LOVA.
