A 13-year-old girl from Zhovkiv won the table tennis championship of Ukraine among mini-cadets

Yesterday, February 12, the table tennis championship of Ukraine among mini-cadets ended in Lviv region.

More than 130 participants from different parts of Ukraine competed for medals at the competition. The championship was hosted by the Academy of Table Tennis, founded by the titled Paralympian Viktor Didukh.

“Viktor Didukh is an example of what great changes one person can create. Athletes from different parts of Ukraine came to a small settlement, the village of Andriivna, Krasnenska hromada. We came here because there is one of the best table tennis training centers in Ukraine, which Viktor founded a few years ago with his like-minded people,” says the head of the youth and sports department of Lviv OVA Roman Khim’yak.

Viktor Didukh’s pupil, 13-year-old Diana Kolennikova, who is currently training at the regional children’s and youth sports school under the leadership of Mykola Shatskyi, won the gold in the competition among girls.

Diana won the final with a score of 3:1. Her rival was Tetyana Pukalo from the city of Rohatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

We will remind you that Diana Kolennikova comes from Zhovkva. Last year, she won the WTT YOUTH CONTENDER international table tennis tournament.
