The World Chess Championship among athletes with hearing impairments will run in Belgrade until 6 July.
The World Chess Championship among athletes with hearing impairments is taking place in Belgrade (Serbia) from 26 June to 6 July. Denys Kolb, a representative of Lviv Region, won a silver medal among boys in blitz.
The athlete represents the Lviv Regional Centre “Invasport” at the competition. Denys’s coach is Ivan Ilnytskyi.
“We congratulate the athlete and his coach on the award. Let me remind you that this year Denys won another very important medal – bronze at the XX Winter Deaflympics held in March in Turkey,” said Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
