Natalya Bodnya, the director of children’s and youth sports school No. 1 in Lviv, performed excellently at the European tennis championship among veterans. The woman from Lviv competed in the 40+ category and managed to triumph in two categories at once: singles and mixed.
In a pair, Natalya won the second final place together with another woman from Lviv, Suzanna Lavrysh.
Natalya won in the mixed team together with Andriy Baidikov from Kyiv. Today, the latter leads the world tennis ranking among veterans, and Natalya Bodnya is on the high 21st place in this list.
We will remind, Natalya Bodnia and Suzanne Lavrysh also competed at the World Championship among veterans in March 2023. Ukrainian women in a pair managed to become third. Natalya Bodnya reached the quarterfinals in singles competitions at the World Championship.
