The Ukrainian team consisting of Vlada Kharkova, Ksenia Panteleeva, Inna Brovko and Yulia Svystil opened the new fencing season with a silver medal at the World Cup held this weekend in the capital of Estonia.
According to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, on the way to the second step of the podium, Bohdan Nikishin’s wards defeated the current world champions of Korea (45:39) and the bronze medalists of the last world championship – Poland (44:37). The Ukrainian women managed to stop only in the finals of the vice-champion of the world and Europe-2022 – the representative of Italy (28:33).
It should be noted that Ksenia Panteleeva and Yuliya Svystil are representatives of Lviv.
