Yelyzaveta Voznyuk, a pupil of the Didukh Children’s and Youth Sports School, won a bronze medal at the World Junior and Youth Championships.
The World Canoeing Championships among juniors and young people under 23 are taking place in Bulgaria. The Ukrainian team, which included Yelyzaveta Voznyuk from the Didukh Children’s and Youth Sports School (coached by Oleg Tymchiy and Taras Tymchiy), finished third in the 500m race with a time of 01:55.076.
Thus, the Ukrainian women won bronze medals at the World Junior and Youth Championships, losing the fight for gold only to the four teams from China and Hungary.
