The European Kyokushinkai Karate Championship among boys and girls (born in 2007-2008), juniors and young women (born in 2005-2006) and youth (born in 2003-2005) ended in Debrecen, Hungary. The Ukrainian national team won the first overall team place, having won 43 medals (16 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze). Lviv residents – representatives of the sports club “Kanku” and the Lviv Regional Federation of Kyokushinkai Karate – are largely responsible for this.
