The Lviv Oblast Armwrestling Championship took place on 10-11 February at the Victoria Gardens shopping mall in Lviv. 270 participants from 32 teams competed for prizes.
The strongest were determined in the following age categories:
– boys aged 9-11
– boys aged 12-13
– boys aged 14-15
– juniors aged 16-18
– young people aged 19-23
– adults
– Para-athletes
As a result, the athletes of the Lviv Lions SC team managed to collect the most medals.

“It is important that para-armwrestlers also competed at the championship. All segments of the population should be involved in sports. It is a good rehabilitation for people with disabilities, an environment of physical and psychological recovery,” says Roman Khimyak, Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
