From 26 May to 3 June, the Boxing Championship of Ukraine among boys and girls born in 2010-2011 took place in the village of Boyany. The national team of the Lviv region included boxers from Chervonohrad – pupils of the Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 2.
According to the results of the competition, our athletes showed quite good results:
- Arsenii Koretskyi – took 2nd place
- Artem Kontor took 3rd place;
- Nazariy Shushnyak took 5th place;
- David Gorbunov took 5th place;
- Stanislav Marusin took 9th place.
It should be noted that Arseniy Koretskyi was the only one from the Lviv Oblast youth team to win a ticket to the final of the Ukrainian Championship, and we sincerely congratulate him on this!
The athletes train under the guidance of Honoured Coach of Ukraine Ivan Khomyak and Masters of Sports of Ukraine Viktor Antipov and Ivan Khomyak.
