In the first days of autumn, national cycling competitions will be held for the first time on the roads of Yavoriv Region, within which the best among both professionals and amateurs will be determined.
In particular, during September 1-3, the best will be determined within the Ukrainian road cycling championship. And on Sunday, September 3, at 2:00 p.m., the Kormil Cycling Race charity cycling race will be held for everyone.
Coordinates the holding of youth and sports management competitions of the Lviv OVA. The co-organizer is the Yavoriv City Council. The general partner is the “Kormil” group of companies.
“It’s a common thing that watching professional races, people who know how to ride a bike, have a desire to try and cover a certain distance themselves for a while. That is why, having secured the support of business, the group of companies “Kormil”, we are holding such a complex cycling competition for the first time”, – explains the head of the youth and sports department of Lviv OVA Roman Khimyak.
Within the framework of the national championship, boys, girls, junior boys and junior girls will compete for awards. They will compete for medals in the team race, group race and criterium race. Cyclists will start and finish in the village of Lisok on September 1 and 2, so there may be situational traffic restrictions nearby. September 3 — start at Rynok square in Yavorov.
Anyone can take part in the race, which will start on Sunday at 14:00. Cyclists will start and finish at Rynok Square in Yavorov, with a U-turn in the village of Nagachiv. The total distance of the race is 22 kilometers.
