At the World Cup, a team of Ukrainian swordsmen with a Lviv team won bronze

The Men’s Sword World Cup ended in Paris on Sunday, April 17. The team of Ukrainian fencers won a bronze award.

In the semifinals, the Ukrainian athletes lost to the winners of the tournament, the Hungarians (42:45), and in the match for third place they defeated the Olympic champions of Japan (40:39).

The team included Kyiv residents Igor Reizlin, Jan Sych, Nikita Koshman, and Vitaliy Svistil from Lviv. For him, this is his debut team competition at such a high level. 23-year-old Vitaliy Svistil is a student of Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture. He is in the top ten ranked swordsmen in Ukraine.
