The cadets compete: boys and girls from Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Zhytomyr, and Kharkiv
The Lviv region is hosting the Ukrainian Armed Forces Boxing Championship among men and women in higher military educational institutions. The event is being held under the patronage of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

The National Academy of the Land Forces in cooperation with the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Training and Sports Base for Summer Sports of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Boxing Federation, the Lviv Regional Organization of the FBU and the Lviv Boxing Federation are managing the preparation and holding of the Championship.
Among the participants are teams from 9 higher military educational institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Zhytomyr and Kharkiv.
By the way, this year the girls are participating in the competition for the first time.
During the competition, the teams will field one boxer each in the following weight categories
men: up to 60 kg, up to 63.5 kg, up to 67 kg, up to 71 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 86 kg, up to 92 kg and over 92 kg;
women: up to 57 kg, up to 60 kg, up to 63 kg, up to 66 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 81 kg and over 81 kg.
The duration of the fight is 3 rounds of 2 minutes each with 1 minute breaks between rounds.
The overall team standings will be determined by the nine best results of the joint team (men, women).
