Military veterans compete for the Warriors’ Cup in bullet shooting
The Warriors’ Shooting Cup was held on 6 December at the shooting range of the Olympic training base of the Lviv regional organisation of the Dynamo Football Club of Ukraine.
This was reported to the Holos Sokalshchyny by the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The competition was attended by about 40 veterans and servicemen who were injured and ill as a result of participation in hostilities. They determined the strongest in the PP-1 exercise, i.e. shooting with an air pistol at 10 metres.
The winners of the first Warriors’ Cup in bullet shooting are:

🥈2nd place – Kalytyuk Serhii
🥉3rd place – Pokryshka Marian
The shooting tournament was organised by the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration together with the Lviv Regional Branch of the Dynamo Football Club of Ukraine.
The Warriors’ Cup is an annual open regional adaptive sports competition that is part of the League of the Unconquered ecosystem, which involves a range of activities and initiatives aimed at psychological, mental and physical rehabilitation (habilitation) of military personnel and war veterans through physical culture and sports.
The Warriors’ Cup was launched in 2021 by the department on the initiative of like-minded ATO veterans, champions and winners of the Invictus Games, Dmytro Sydoruk, who unfortunately died near Popasna in 2022 while defending Ukraine in the war, as well as Roman Panchenko, Serhii Shymchak and Pavlo Luchkiv. At first, it was an archery-only tournament.
