A bicycle tour took place in Lviv Oblast

To the International Day of Cyclists, which is celebrated on June 3, the Department of Tourism and Resorts, together with the Lviv Association of Cyclists and the Domazhyr bear shelter, organized a walking bicycle tour.

More than 100 people volunteered to participate in the event. They have already left Lviv and are on their way to the Domazhyr bear shelter. In total, they have to cover 37 km.

“I am glad that there are bicycle paths leading to the tourist attractions of the region. We joined the organization in order to popularize the R60 bicycle route, which the Department of Tourism and Resorts identified in partnership with the Domazhyr bear shelter and the international charity fund “Four Paws”, – noted Taras Lozynskyi, head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Lviv Oblast.

Before the start, representatives of the Lviv Association of Cyclists and the Bicycle Patrol reminded the participants about safety measures:

do not “cut” each other;
do not enter the roadway;
try not to stretch the column;
stop – raise your hand up;
turn left or right, indicate with the corresponding hand;
all movements must be predictable for cyclists moving next to you.

In the bear shelter, the participants will have an unforgettable excursion and get to know the bears, as well as a treat.
