The Ukrainian cross-country skiing championship has started in Lviv region

The tournament will last until January 27.

The Ukrainian Ski Championship has started at the training and sports center of the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center of the National Committee for Sports for the Disabled of Ukraine in Yavoriv village, Sambir district, the Ukrainian cross-country skiing championship among juniors, juniors and U-23 youth has started. The competition involves 55 participants representing eight teams from five regions of Ukraine: Zakarpattia, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and the city of Kyiv. The tournament will last until January 27.

The competition program:

January 22 – official training;

January 23 – 10 km classic style race;

January 24 – sprint race, freestyle – 1400 meters;

January 25 – official training;

January 26 – race, freestyle (mass start) – juniors, youth – 20 km, juniors, youth 15 km;

January 28 – relay race, juniors – 4 x 5 km, juniors – 4 x 3.3 km.

Results of the first day of the competition:

Juniors, classic style race – 10 km;

1st place – Anastasia Nikon, Sumy region

2nd place – Daryna Myhal, Sumy region

3rd place – Evgenia Murach, Zakarpattia region

Youth, men, classic style race – 10 km;

1st place – Dmytro Romanchenko, Sumy region

2nd place – Artem Kazaryan, Kyiv region

3rd place – Igor Rusyn, Transcarpathian region

Juniors, classic style race – 10 km;

1st place – Oleksandr Rudenko, Sumy region

2nd place – Denys Mukhotinov, Sumy region

3rd place – Stanislav Pilat, Kharkiv region
