Yesterday in Debrecen, Hungary, the men’s finals of the 68th Istvan Bocskai Memorial-2024 Istvan Bocskai Memorial-2024 “A” Class Elite Boxing Tournament were completed.
Three Lviv players who reached this stage were defeated today and eventually won silver medals. This was reported in the Branch of the NOC of Ukraine in the Lviv region
Andriy Tyshkovets (up to 48 kg) lost to Kazakhstan’s Askhat Zhusupov, then Dmytro Kulya (up to 75 kg) and Oleksandr Hrytsiv (over 92 kg) lost to their compatriots – Pavel Ilyusha from Chernihiv and Dmytro Lovchinsky, a boxer from the Kyiv region, respectively. Anastasia Saranyuk (up to 70 kg) won another “silver” the day before – she was defeated by a Hungarian boxer in the final.
And Lviv’s hope for an Olympic license Daniil Zamorylo (up to 63.5 kg) became a bronze medalist, losing in the semifinals to the holder of the license, the medalist of the European Championship and European Games, Richard Kovach from Hungary. By the way, Danyil is celebrating his 22nd birthday today, with which we sincerely congratulate him!
