Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Legkodukh won “gold” in shot put and “silver” in rowing on simulators for 4 minutes.
Veteran of the National Guard of Ukraine Ihor Halushka took first place in rowing on simulators for 4 minutes and second place in rowing on simulators for 1 minute.
By the way, Igor came to the award ceremony with a Ukrainian flag with the inscription “Save Mariupol” and the flag of the Azov Regiment.
Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Dmytro Afanasyev and veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Kalytiuk won “silver” in the team archery competition.
The boys said they felt great support abroad. At almost every step they heard from foreigners: “Glory to Ukraine!”.
Dmytro Sydoruk, the silver medalist of the 2017 Unconquered Games, was also mentioned during the meeting. He also had to be in the national team this year. Dmytro died in early April while performing a combat mission in the Luhansk region.
The guys offered to establish an Archery Cup in his honor. The Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration will provide appropriate support to implement this important commemorative initiative quickly.
