Sankari from Lviv Region competed at the World Championship in Germany

The World Luge Championship took place on January 26-28 in Altenberg (Germany).

Eight athletes represented Lviv Oblast as part of the national team of Ukraine:
🔸Anton Dukach, Danyil Marcinoivskyi, Anna Shkret – one-seater sled;
🔸Olena Stetskiv/Olexandra Mokh, Vadym Mykyevich/Bohdan Babura, Nazarii Kachmar (paired with Igor Goi from Ternopil) – two-seater sled.

The coaches of the national team of Ukraine are Taras Hartsula, Volodymyr Vakhrushev and Oleg Zherebetsky from Lviv.
Anton Dukach managed to show the best result – 12th place among adults, and Daniil Martsinovskyi – 6th place in the under-23 category.
