On 15 September, Pavlo Kostiv, a miner at Lvivvuhillya, became the world workout record holder. The record was set during the Ukrainian Workout Record Cup held last weekend in Dnipro.

Pavlo Kostiv set the record in the two-armed pull-up, which is a pull-up on the horizontal bar when, at the end of the exercise, the athlete rests two straight arms on the bar from above. He was able to repeat the exercise 32 times.

Pavlo Kostiv is a miner from Chervonohrad. In 2017, he became the Ukrainian street fighting champion, and in 2018, 2020 and 2021, he became the world champion. In August 2024, at the Miner’s Day sports day, Pavlo Kostiv became the champion in the crossbar pull-up. He competed for the team of Lvivvuhillya.
