The competition brought together more than 300 participants from 30 countries.
The World Kettlebell Lifting Championships are taking place on the island of Corfu in Greece. Andrii Berezhniuk took first place among juniors in the triathlon in the weight category up to 95 kg.
The athlete is a third-year student at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. The cadet is coached by Mykola Kostovskyi.
Andrii Berezhniuk started kettlebell lifting in his first year of university. At first, the cadet competed in university competitions, and then in national competitions. This year, he fulfilled the standard of Master of Sports of Ukraine and became the absolute champion among juniors at the Cup of the Ukrainian Kettlebell Lifting Association.
