Athlete from Lviv region wins the European Shooting Championships

Vladyslav Medushevskyi wins the European Shooting Championships

Vladyslav Medushevskyi, an athlete from Lviv Oblast (Dynamo/ Dmytro Sydoruk Children and Youth Sports School, coaches: Roman Bondaruk and Volodymyr Ivanchuk), won the European Junior Shooting Championship title in pistol shooting. He won in the duo event at a distance of 25 metres.

Vladyslav’s teammate is Vilena Bevz from Dnipro.

The European Championships continue in Croatia.

The day before, Volodymyr Pasternak, Pavlo Korostylov from Lviv region and Maksym Horodynets won silver in the men’s rapid fire pistol team event.

Pasternak also took second place in the team in the 25m pistol event.

Yulia Korostylova became the European champion in the pistol event.

Anastasia Nimets and Vladimir Pasternak became silver medallists in this discipline.

“Congratulations to the athletes and their coaches. I would also like to remind you that bullet shooting is one of the adaptive sports that military veterans in the Lviv region can practice for free as part of our League of the Unconquered project,” said Roman Khimyak, Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
