This week, Anna and 6 other athletes of the youth national team of Ukraine are going to the European Championships.
The Dresden Open 2024 competition took place recently in Germany. Athlete Anna Motalo won a gold medal in the 68 kg weight category among young people aged 18-20 at the Dresden Open 2024 international karate competition, which took place recently in Germany.
Very soon, Anna and 6 other athletes of the UNION sports karate club, who are members of the Ukrainian youth national team, will go to the European Championships, which will be held from February 9 to 11 in Georgia.
The Dresden Open 2024 competition was attended by about 700 participants – athletes from 10 countries. Anna fought 3 fights with her opponents with scores of 8:0, 2:1, 2:1. In the final, Anna defeated a karateka from Germany with a score of 2:1 and won a gold medal.
“It was undoubtedly a confident victory and, at the same time, a good preparation for one of the biggest starts of this season – the European Championships, which will start this week, on February 9 in Tbilisi. I believe that every sportsman or woman who is responsible for their training cycle should attend such competitions,” the athlete says.
