Three medals among adults and five among children: results of taekwon-doists from Lviv Oblast at all-Ukrainian competitions
From 14 to 17 November, the national team of Lviv Oblast competed in the Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Cup among adults in Kyiv. In total, representatives of 18 clubs from 8 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv took part in the event.
The regional team became vice-champions of the Ukrainian Cup, winning two gold and one silver medal.
All medals were won by Iryna Mukha, a representative of the Alpha Team club from Lviv.

“At the same time, the first ever Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union championship among younger children, children and younger boys was taking place. Athletes aged 7-11 competed, almost 300 participants from 10 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. Lviv region was represented at this event by 11 young athletes,” says Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
