Truskavets club “Naftusia” – silver medalist of the championship of Ukraine in volleyball among women’s teams of the Higher League

In the regular championship, the women from Truskavets took second place in the standings and reached the semifinals of the competition.

In the ½ finals in Khyrov, our girls beat the third team of the Higher League – VC “Orbita-ZNU-ZODYUSSH-DYUSSH Orbita” from Zaporizhzhia.

In the final series for the gold awards, Naftusi volleyball players met their rivals from Kamiansk – SC “Akademiya Prometei”. Truskave women lost in two matches and took second place in the championship of Ukraine among the teams of the Higher League.

“How much energy, emotions, and time have been spent – you can’t count! Thank you to every player, coaching staff, club management! The second step allows you to rise in class and try your hand at the volleyball Superleague of Ukraine!” – the team notes.

According to the results of the season in the Higher League among women, Naftusi player Ksenia Mazur became the best connecting player, and Tetyana Grashchenko was the best libero.

The highlight of the award ceremony was the certification of Yuliyana Denys, the central blocking team. The girl agreed to the marriage proposal.

“In those communities where there is a clear, consistent and balanced policy regarding the development of mass sports, at the same time we see results and significant achievements in sports of higher achievements. Last week, BC Sambir was congratulated for winning the silver medals of the Higher League of Ukraine in men’s basketball. And today we admire the achievements of the women’s team,” sums up the head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Roman Khimyak, and adds:

“I thank the players, coaches, management and partners of the club for the emotions that the team gave during the season. The winning game in the Cup of Ukraine against the Super League team – Halychanka from Ternopil was especially memorable.”
