In Lviv, the heroes set a new record and collected 100,000 hryvnias for the Armed Forces

Heroes competed last weekend in Lviv. The charity event in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was organized by the charity fund “For Heroes” and the Federation of the strongest athletes of Ukraine and tug-of-war. At the event, they collected 100,000 hryvnias and set a Ukrainian record.

Both amateurs and professional athletes from all over Ukraine took part in the heroic all-around. During the competition, heroes demonstrated their skills in three exercises: deadlift, bench press and log lift. By the way, it was in the last exercise that Oleg Pylypyak from Lviv set a new Ukrainian record – he lifted 200 kg. Before that, the record belonged to the famous Ukrainian hero Vitai Mikheev (195 kg).

Roman Vinnyk, a hero from Ivano-Frankivsk, showed a powerful result in the bench press. He lifted a bar weighing 100 kg 35 times.

A charity auction for the sale of paintings was also held during the event. Funds were collected for our guys from the intelligence brigade, which is actively working in the east of Ukraine.
