All-Ukrainian archery tournament among war veterans and para-athletes “Unbreakable Shot” took place in Lviv

“Unbreakable Shot” was the first competition where veterans and para athletes from different regions of Ukraine competed side by side

This was reported by the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration

The Lviv regional championship and the all-Ukrainian archery tournament among war veterans and para-athletes “Unbreakable Shot” took place on 23 November at the sports complex of the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture “SKIF”.

The competition brought together about 40 athletes, including 23 war veterans: teams from Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kherson, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Lviv regions and Kyiv.
The participants competed in two divisions – Olympic and block archery in the men’s and women’s categories.

This is the first competition ahead of the new 2025 indoor archery competition season.

RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION

Category “Olympic bow, men”:
🥇1 place – Ruslan Tsymbaliuk
🥈2 place – Artur Golovin
🥉3 place – Vasyl Naumchuk

Men’s block bow category:
🥇1 place – Ivan Dziadyk
🥈2 place – Pavlo Nazar
🥉3 place – Pavlo Luchkiv

Category “Olympic bow, women”:
🥇1 place – Oleksandra Chirkova
🥈2 place – Hanna Shashuk
🥉3 place – Nataliia Makar

Category “Veterans, Olympic bow”:
🥇1 place – Oleksandr Kataula
🥈2 place – Ihor Salii
🥉3 place – Vadym Maznichenko

The event was organised by the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Lviv Regional Centre “Invasport”, the Archery Federation of Lviv Region with the support of the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture.

The competition was held as part of the League of the Unconquered project, which aims to rehabilitate and habilitate military veterans through sports. Anyone can join open training sessions, workshops, sports and recreational activities, and competitions in various sports. Follow the announcements on the Invictus League Facebook page.
