Charity obstacle race to be held in Lviv on Saturday

This Saturday, Lviv will host a charity obstacle race Spartan LVIV 2024. The race is suitable for everyone, from beginners to professionals, who wants to overcome the challenges of the track, get incredible memories and join in to help the defenders of Ukraine.

“This is your 30 seconds to get a taste of the challenge. Imagine yourself at the start, feel the rhythm, the adrenaline at each obstacle, the team spirit and strength that make Spartan more than just a competition! Every metre on the track will be the moment when you prove that you can do more,” the organisers describe the race.

The race will take place along the following route: 24 Staroznesenska St. (!FESTrepublic) – Zaklynskikh St. – Metropolita V. Lypkivskoho St. – Znesennya Regional Landscape Park – Zaklynskikh St. – 24-26 Staroznesenska St. (!FESTrepublic). There will be minor street closures along the race route, which are not used by public transport.

The starting point will open at 9:00 a.m. and the race will start at 10:00 a.m.

Spartan LVIV will include a competitive sprint, an open sprint, a team race, a race for participants with amputations and a charity race.

It should be noted that Spartan LVIV 2024 is not only about the test of strength, but also about helping those on the front line. The funds raised from the race will be used to buy secret weapons for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and support the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
