According to the head of the Lviv region, Maksym Kozytskyi, the all-Ukrainian competition “School Leagues Side by Side” has ended in the capital. The students of our region showed excellent results.
🥇Girls from Lviv Ivan Pului Lyceum became the best in Ukraine in cheerleading competitions.
🥈Girls from Stryi Lyceum named after Andrii Korchak won silver in volleyball competitions.
🥉And boys volleyball players from Sokal School No. 2 brought home bronze.
“Dear students, you have come a very long and difficult way to such success – from selection at the level of your home school, community, district to regional and national competitions. You have proved that well-coordinated teamwork can create sports miracles. The whole Lviv region is proud of you! I am grateful to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for such a strong and unifying initiative for our children,” said the head of the Lviv Regional Regional Administration.
He also thanked the specialists of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration for organising and supporting the project.
By the way, Lviv region is the first in the country in terms of the number of school teams that have registered for this project. We have 2875 of them, which is more than 35,000 students!
