On March 7, the Volytske Educational Complex of the Shehyne community hosted the second (territorial) stage of the All-Ukrainian competition “Side by Side All-Ukrainian School Basketball League” dedicated to the memory of Volodymyr Hdulevych among the teams of the community’s general secondary education institutions.
The competition is held to popularize sports and healthy lifestyle among Ukrainian students under the slogan “TOGETHER WE WILL WIN!”. The event began with the National Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence to honor those who gave their lives for the freedom of our country.
The winners were as follows:
First place – Gusakovsky educational complex;
II place – Volytskyi educational complex;
III place – Balytskyi educational complex.

By the Order of the Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration of January 19, 2024, No. 62/0/5-24VA “On the Implementation of the All-Ukrainian School Leagues Project in the Lviv Region”, the Department of Youth and Sports, in partnership with the Department of Education and Science and with the support of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy, was appointed as the project coordinator.
