The championship of Ukraine in boxing among men and women under the age of 22 is coming to an end in the Rivne region, and athletes from the Lviv region took part in it.
The Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv OVA sent the full team of the Lviv Oblast national team – 10 athletes and 2 coaches – to participate in these competitions. Most athletes return home with awards.
Daniil Zamorylo became the champion of Ukraine in the weight category of 63.5 kg. The boy is learning boxing at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 2. His mentor is the Honored Coach of Ukraine Andriy Salva.
Anna Dobrovolska became the vice-champion of Ukraine in the 50 kg weight category. The athlete trains at the Boxing Academy of Andrii Kotelnyk. She is coached by Roman Juman. The bronze in the same weight category was won by Khrystyna Bakhmatiyeva, who trains at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 2 under the leadership of Yury Vityk.
Tetyana Masiuk, competing in the 54 kg weight category, also won bronze. She works at the Children’s and Youth Sports School named after Anton Bily. Vasyl Zhidkov trains the athlete.
Ivanna Bukas took the third place in the weight category of 63 kg. She is coached by Mykhailo Stakhniv at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 2.
Another bronze medalist is Tetyana Dachishyn, who competed in the 66 kg category. The athlete trains at the Boxing Academy of Andriy Kotelnyk under the leadership of Roman Juman.
Stepan Pushchak, who competes in the 51 kg weight category, took the third place among men. He is coached by Mykhailo Stakhniv at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 2.
Pavlo Smolynskyi, a pupil of the Anton Bily Children’s and Youth Sports School, also won bronze. The boy competed in the weight category over 92 kg. He is coached by Oleksandr Bodnia.
