The national team of the Lviv region won the championship of Ukraine in sambo among juniors

At the Training and Sports Base of Summer Sports in Lviv, the championship of Ukraine in sambo wrestling among adults, juniors, juniors, boys and girls of older age ended over the weekend.

More than two hundred athletes competed for awards over several days.

The national team of the Lviv Oblast demonstrated high results at the competition – athletes from the region won the first overall team place among juniors, the third among young men, and the sixth among adults.

In particular, among the juniors in sports sambo, Lviv natives Nikita Beregulskyi in the weight category over 98 kg and Yaroslav Mykhailiuk in the category over 79 kg became the champions. Evgeny Rybalov won silver. Bohdan Teplinskyi and Semyon Novosad became bronze medalists. Bronze awards were also won by juniors Anna Vynogradska and Alevtyna Buga.

Bohdan Wozniak, who competed in the 64 kg weight category, became the champion among young men in combat sambo. Silver medals were won by Ostap Datsko, Svyatoslav Dudko and Volodymyr Dmytruk. The bronze medalists were Mykola Stets, David Stepanyan and Danyil Halytskyi. Among young men, Volodymyr Dmytruk and Oleg Ronevich won bronze medals in sports sambo. Among the girls, Alevtyna Buga won silver.

In combat sambo among juniors, athletes from Lviv Oblast won 6 medals. Bohdan Shkikavy, who competes in the weight category of 71 kg, and Mykhailo Lishchynskyi in the weight category of 58 kg became the champions. Silver medals were won by Valery Maiboroda, Ilya Smilyanskyi, and Nikita Beregulskyi. Danylo Lozynskyi won bronze.

Among men, the champion in the weight category over 98 kg is Mykola Hrybyk. Valery Maiboroda, Artur Smuk, Nazar Shipka and Ihor Knysh became vice-champions in various weight categories. Anna Vynogradska won silver among women.

Athletes are trained by Yaroslav Hrybyk, Fedir Zagura, Oleg Shestopalov, Semen Sudarikov, Pavlo Shmylo, Roman Shmylo, Araz Tuvakov, Roman Yunak, Andriy Melnyk, Oleg Hasiuk.
