Local volunteer Marichka Dilna has once again joined in to support our military. Traditionally, before the Easter holidays, she bakes Easter cakes and other goodies for our soldiers in her cafe in the village of Shklo. According to the volunteer, this year she baked the cakes herself, but the whole community contributed to the food. Some brought money, others food. So together they managed to bake 250 fresh Easter cakes, which have already been sent to the front line to our defenders.
“That year, I had no helpers and no volunteers, so it was so little, but I thank God for everything. A part of it has already gone to the guys. Thanks to everyone who contributed,” the volunteer said.
It is not the first time the woman has joined the volunteer ranks. Last year, together with the school’s hostesses, she baked about 800 Easter cakes, 700 energy bars, 500 bagels, 50 kg of cookies, canned food and much more for our boys, made with the love of our school hostesses.
Everything will be Ukraine!
