A 120-mm mortar is one of the artillery weapons of the 103rd Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Its weight is 240 kg, the inner diameter of the barrel from which the mine flies is 120 millimeters. Ammunition, the most common type of which is high-explosive fragmentation, is capable of covering a distance of 500 to 7100 meters.
A 16-kilogram mine is guaranteed to hit enemy infantry in a radius of 25 m to 60 m, and the scattering of fragments can reach 250 m. In addition, a 120-mm mine is capable of destroying engineering structures and enemy armored vehicles.

“In the strong hands of our fighters, this is a formidable and powerful weapon, which they have successfully mastered and successfully use in combat work. Skill, accuracy and efficiency increase with each shot,” the brigade assured.
The weapons were purchased within the framework of the “Long Arms of the TrO” project, which was carried out by the Come Back Alive Foundation together with partners.
