On Saturday, July 23, a running flashmob will be held simultaneously in several cities of Ukraine in support of the Mariupol garrison.
The organizers of the event are the Association of Families of Defenders of Azovstal. You can also join the race in Lviv. Here, the Lviv Regional Center “Sports for All” is helping to organize a race for the relatives of the defenders of Mariupol.
In Lviv, those willing to take part will start in Stryi Park near the entrance to the regional DYSSH at 10:00 a.m. You can register directly on the spot one hour before the start. Children are also invited to run symbolic distances for the Heroes.
At the starting point, everyone will receive a printout with the hashtag #runforAzovstal. After the event, participants are invited to take their photo and post it on social networks with the tag #runforAzovstal. In the post, it is important to talk about our steel heroes – the defenders of Mariupol.
The purpose of the marathon is to remind the world about the heroism of the defenders of Mariupol. Mass starts of the sports event will take place on July 23 simultaneously in several Ukrainian cities: in addition to Lviv, in Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Rivne, Cherkassy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi.
After the run, everyone will be able to visit a photo exhibition dedicated to the Heroes of Steel. It will feature photos of invincible boys and girls who defended Ukraine and us.
