Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, British volunteers have already donated 500 pickup trucks to the needs of our soldiers
This time they arrived in Lviv region with 26 more off-road vehicles. This was announced by the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi.
The vehicles were delivered as part of the Pickup Trucks for Peace initiative launched by British farmer Mark Laird, who has been supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014.
In particular, our defenders from the following brigades received them: 24th Brigade named after King Danylo, 150th Brigade, 110th Brigade named after Major General Mark Bezruchko. As well as units of the National Guard and other military formations. The vehicles were filled with humanitarian aid.
Today I had the honour to present him with a badge from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. This award is a gratitude on behalf of our entire country and all our people for everything that Mark and his friends are doing to strengthen our soldiers,” added Maksym Kozytskyi.
