In several districts of Lviv region, residents have rallied and are making trench candles for the Ukrainian Defenders.
Trench candles are needed in the cold period of the year, they are used to heat food, to warm up, as a light source. If you have the opportunity and desire to help support the military, join the initiative in your area.
Sambir district
Svitlana Mokrynska, a resident of Sambor, makes trench candles at home. Now there is a need for premises and raw materials. The space is needed so that groups of volunteers can gather in it, make candles and store all the necessary materials. Contact person: Svitlana – 096-285-60-10
Stryi district
In the Mykolaiv community, on the initiative of the Mykolaiv Youth Council, they are actively making trench candles for defenders at the front. Schoolchildren, representatives of the clergy, and caring residents of Mykolaiv join the initiative. Master classes are held in the community, and anyone who wants to can join them. Trench candles are made here for defenders of the 103rd, 95th, 80th, 65th and 24th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chervonohrad district
In the village Zhmyrka three families united for a good cause. They make candles for defenders at home, on a volunteer basis, they do it as needed and if raw materials are available. Soldiers of the 103rd Separate Territorial Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repeatedly received these candles. For the large-scale production of candles, defenders at the front need cardboard, jars, paraffin, and firewood. Contact person: Lyudmila – 050-430-01-21
Yavorivsky district
Pupils of the social center BO “Children’s Dreams” / GO “Regina” conduct master classes on making candles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. More than a hundred of them have already been sent to the front lines to defeat the enemy faster. All materials for production are provided – they are brought by local residents.
